: Johnson, Wesley N. : Rocke Warren November 22, 2008, 03:46:48 PM Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Murland G. Johnson, was born here September 25, 1939, graduated from Cottage Grove Union High School in June, 1958, and died March 7, 1961 in an automobile accident in Wolf Creek Douglas County, OR.
Besides the parents, survivors include a brother, Michael at home, and maternal and paternal grandmothers, Mrs. Susie Wood, Cottage Grove, and Mrs. Jennie Johnson, Asotin, WA. He was employed by his father in the Johnson Logging Co. Funeral services were conducted, with Elder Elmer Unterseher, pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist church, officiating. Interment was made in the IOOF cemetery, and members of the local National Guard unit, of which Johnson was a member, served as pallbearers. |
