Henry A. Chase, 70, of Alpharetta, Georgia died July 15, 2010 from Alzheimer?s Disease.

He was born June 28, 1940 in Cottage Grove to Dorman and Pearl (Tilton) Chase.

Henry grew up and attended school in Cottage Grove and also attended Lane Community College and other trade schools.

He was a sheet metal fabricator, working for Carothers Sheet Metal and Clark Sheet Metal.

In 1982, he moved to Georgia.

Henry enjoyed square dancing, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and caring for his bird aviary. He was a very active member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union and also volunteered at Alpharetta Hospital.

He is survived by three daughters, Cindy Reynolds of Eugene, Sherry Lantz of Springfield, and Rhonda Foy of Pleasant Hill, a son, Verne Chase of Dawsonville, Georgia, a sister, Connie Cox of North Ridge, Calif., a brother, Tom Chase of Eugene, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his former wife of 33 years, June B. Chase.
