: Leonhardy, Jay : Rocke Warren November 19, 2016, 05:57:09 PM Jay R. "Big Jay" Leonhardy passed peacefully Sunday, April 3, 2016 at age 76. He was born February 14, 1940 in Rifle. CO. He was predeceased by his brothers, Carl, Bruce and Frank. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Terry; daughter, Jonelle; son, Robert; sister, Adell; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; his thoughtful and caring New York and Oregon families and many exceptional friends around the country. Jay led an extraordinary and colorful life. He was a Navy Veteran and spent 25 years as a Sailor on the Alaskan Marine Highway.
