Brent Wayne Moon passed away April 16th, 2016, from a brain tumor.

Brent was born in Modesto, CA in 1939. Lived in Cottage Grove most of his growing up years. Graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1958 and married Susan Emma Kenyon.

Enlisted in the Armed Services in 1958 and was first stationed at Ramsey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico where their first child, Debra Sue was born in 1960. Later they were stationed in the state of WA, where their second child, Lori Ann was born in 1961. Brent was honorably discharged after 4 years of service as Military Police.

In 1962, they moved to his home town, Cottage Grove, OR, where their third daughter, Shari Lynn, was born. Moved to Eugene shortly after where he worked in sales and in the insurance industry most of his years up until his stroke in 1986, which left him disabled.

He lovingly cared for his mother through her 90 years of age while enduring many other health trials. But through it all, he managed to live on his own and perform property management services to many at the condominium where he lived. Brent was the ultimate survivor until a brain tumor quickly became more than he could overcome.

Brent came to truly know the Lord through the fellowship and teachings of Pastor Steve Singleton at Restoration Fellowship in Springfield. For this, we are so very grateful.

Brent is survived by his 3 daughters, Debra Sue Moon and Lori Ann Moon of Asheville, North Carolina, and Shari Lynn Hoover of Eugene, OR. Also 3 grandchildren, Ryan Reynolds Hoover of San Fransisco, CA , Brandon Wayne Hoover of Portland, OR and Emma Grace Moon of Asheville, North Carolina.

Services were held at the Restoration Fellowship in Springfield, OR, April 30th.
