: Strebe, Don : Rocke Warren August 01, 2011, 12:37:15 PM A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Creswell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses for Donald George Strebe of Creswell, who died July 18 of Alzheimer?s disease. He was 70.
He was born April 20, 1941, in Cottage Grove to Fred and Leota Emerson Strebe. He married Linda Foster on April 20, 1968, in Creswell. He graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1959 and worked as a carpenter. He was employed at Bohemia Lumber and Plywood Co., and later owned and operated his own janitorial business. Survivors include a son, Jon of Eugene; a daughter, Stephanie Crapser of Creswell; two brothers, Fred of La Pine and Ted of Dorena; two sisters, Donna Metcalf of Baker City and Joy Doolittle of Lakeside; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. |
