Shirey says she is a retired musician, however, she and her husband of 5 years, Kent, are active musicians in a due called County Line Band. They have played for dances at Salem Eagles, The Dalles Eagles, Beaverton, Hillsboro and Milwaukie Elks, Cottage Grove Car Cruises, rodeo events and are having a ball. Shirey has 4 children, 7 grandchildren. They plan on traveling in their trailer and continue to play music. Daughters, Vicky Hill and Darla Compton, and son Doug Coomler live in San Diego, CA.
