The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Richard Kinkade of Eugene, who died March 15, 2011 of bone cancer. He was 71.
He was born Dec. 21, 1939, in Cottage Grove to Robert and Ruth Curtis Kinkade. He married Phyllis Bailey in 1960. They divorced in 1963. He married Anita Campbell in 1995. They divorced in 1997.
He graduated from Cottage Grove High School and graduated from a trade school. He served in the Air Force from 1960 to 1964. He worked as an electrician for 40 years.
Survivors include three sons, Richard of O?Fallon, Ill., Gary of Cool, Calif., and Kenneth of Cottage Grove; two daughters, Kathlene Thurman of Bismarck, N.D., and Kelley Kinkade of Coos Bay; a sister, Lora Gary of Crow; two brothers, twin brother Deross of Cottage Grove and Robert of San Diego; and 13 grandchildren.
