Myrtle ?Eileen? Dubell Cooper passed away Feb. 20, 2011, at a Sioux City, Iowa hospital following a brief illness.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at Moville Methodist Church with Rev. Harold E. Werley officiating. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com

Eileen was born Jan. 26, 1940 in Roseburg, Ore. to Rufus and Mae Miller Dubell. Eileen was raised from 22 months old by her mother Mae and ?Dad? Roderick Doolittle. She graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1959. After graduation she enlisted in the U.S. Army, where she trained in the finance office in Fort Meyer, Va.

She married Dale V. Cooper on Aug 17, 1960 in Hyattsville, Maryland at Hyattsville Baptist Church. They spent their first year in Aurelia, Iowa, moving to Oregon in Feb. 1962. They moved back to Iowa in 1977.

Eileen enjoyed and loved all of her family very much, bird watching, word search puzzles and the Internet.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dale of Moville, four daughters, Diana (Wes) Ossman of Ida Grove, Iowa, Debbie (Ray Plafcan) Cooper of Seney, Iowa, Denise (Larry) Gardner of Bristol, Va., and Dawna (Bryan) Pearse of Moville, Iowa, 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters she was raised with, Sharon Crisp, Sandi Joseph and Sue Burnes, and two other sisters that were special to her, Brenda Holland and Dorris Perry.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Todd Dubell.
